Optical Separators

Description

Optical Separators

Optical separator is one of the most important units that must be available in automatic waste sorting lines. The waste stream to be sorted is passed by the accelerated feeding conveyor, where the waste is scattered and diverging, not covering each other, and the infrared rays shed on it with a high resolution of 320,000 dot. The rays reflected from the conveyed waste stream are captured by the infrared sensors to record the specific spectrum of each material according to its composition, size, color, cyclicity, and velocity on the feeding process. The optical interval records 10 million parameters per second. When the materials reach the final edge of the feeding belt, the edge is perforated with successive holes, which are openings for compressed air, and each hole works separately from the other holes. When the material to be separated from the rest of the materials arrives, the air is released from the required hole with appropriate pressure and a specific time to ventilate the material away from the rest of the materials to the advanced lobe. The optical separator is programmed according to the intended purpose.
